This chocolate ginger smoothie is über luxurious and lush. It’s a wonderful combo of cosy rich raw cacao powder and firey ginger root. It is somehow really comforting, warming and refreshing, as it packs a great big zinging ginger punch!
It’s become my new favourite smoothie as it tastes deliciously naughty but makes my body feel really nice! Our bods know when we are feeding them something truly nutritious, and this is one of those! Obviously we are dairy free, and have a plethora of milk alternative available – I made mine with some lovely organic almond milk. If you are a nut-free household use an oat-milk or rice-milk or your family fave milk alternative.
While I am online posting this recipe I want to apologise for my sporadic posts over the last month or two – I am in the process of sorting out my website so that it has a proper index, which will make all my recipes really easy for you to find and return to. It will be worth the wait; I promise! Thanks for your patience in the meantime! I hope you enjoy this scrummy chocolate ginger smoothie perfect during this beautiful Indian Summer. Rai xx
