Today we have enjoyed watching the old Disney classic – Aladin! Accompanying the film I enjoyed some crunchy, tasty home-made parsnip crisps. Really easy to make and very fast too 🙂

Parsnip Crisps – Ingredients 

Parsnip, coconut oil, honey, pepper, salt

Parsnip Crisps – Process

  • Preheat your oven to 160° C (fan)
  • In a heatproof bowl add:
    • 1 Tbs coconut oil
    • 1 tsp honey
    • grind of pepper
  • Heat until the oil and honey have melted and combined
    one tray ready to bake
  • Add your sliced parsnips (I used a food processor to chop a parsnip)
  • Ensure they are coated then place on a baking tray
  • Pop into the oven for 10 minutes
  • Take them out and turn them over
  • Put back into the oven for another 5 minutes
  • Place in a bowl and grind some salt over the top
  • ENJOY! 🙂
