Perfect biscuit trio; custard & raspberry kisses joined together by a little blog of light & fluffy vanilla icing! The custard biscuits melt-in-your-mouth and the raspberries provide a fresh tart tang that goes so well with custard. Normally I think of rhubarb going together with custard – but the raspberries add a fresh tartness and a pretty touch to these scrummy bite-sized morsels. They work really well together.
Due to the mildness of November here in Blighty (until this weekend) we have been enjoying alpine strawberries, raspberries, nasturtium, apples… from the garden still! But winter has hit our Isle this weekend so there is gonna be a shift in my baking and posts – back to winter warmers and cosy treats! Soon we’ll be preparing for Christmas too!
