Following on the theme of fighting off lurgies and feeding our bods with healthy grub I thought I would share this really scrummy, super simple and speedy to make broccoli & potato soup. It is packed full of flavour with cayenne pepper providing a wonderful chilli kick, and the sesame oil giving it a rich earthy flavour.
When you are feeling ill you don’t want to spend loads of time in the kitchen, this soup requires about ten minutes in the kitchen! You leave the potatoes to boil while you curl up under a blanket. Once they are done it will only be about 10 minutes in the kitchen before your soup is ready to go. It really is very fast, but still flavoursome and healthy.
It’s great because the potatoes make it a substantial meal, and the broccoli just cooked is packed full of delicious nutrients for you bod. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
