vegan amaretto sour

A special treat for all the mums out there living and catering for food allergies; vegan amaretto sour 🙂 enjoy x

Ingredients:

  • 1 pink grapefruit
  • 4 lemons
  • 100 g sugar
  • 300 ml amaretto
  • 100 ml filtered water
  • some ice

Method:

  1. Squeeze or juice your grapefruit and lemons into a measuring jug and add the sugar - give it a good stir and pop in the fridge. The sugar needs to dissolve in the fruit juice. 

  2. Once the sugar has dissolved pour the lot into your liquidiser and measure out your amaretto in the jug before pouring into the liquidisers, do the same with the water to ensure all the sugar ends up in the liquidiser.

  3. Add a handful of ice and blitz, pour out and enjoy with friends or neighbours. 

Notes:

If you don't drink it all (!?!?!?) it will store in a glass sealed jar in the fridge overnight - or so I am reliably informed ;P  x
