cosy spiced smoothie

This cosy spiced smoothie is a very lovely way to end your day! Enjoy it snuggled up in an old fav jumper or blanket, I really think it's a cuddle-up evening smoothie, full of goodness for your bod. Thanks to the spices it smells amazing and the nutmeg is especially calming and soporific. If you want to add another good night-time treat to the smoothie add some gluten-free oats to the mix. But mostly ENJOY!

Ingredients:

  • 2 banana peeled & broken up
  • ½ an avocado peeled & stoned
  • 300ml m!lk alternative
  • 3-5 dates stoned (dependant on how sweet you like your smoothie)
  • 2 Tbs raw cacao powder*
  • 2 Tbs peanut b*tter**
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • grated nutmeg

Method:

  1. Bung all the ingredients into your blender in the order above and blitz thoroughly until it's a smooth thick consistency. Pour into your favourite jar and grate a load more nutmeg over the top.

  2. Get snug and snoozy, and most importantly ENJOY! 

Notes:

*If you're using normal cocoa powder add an extra Tbs

**If you're allergic to peanuts, use a tree-nut b*tter like almond b*tter, if you are allergic to all nuts but can eat sesame seeds use a dollop of tahini instead.
