Crisp and crunchy crackers flavoured with Lebanese herbs and spices make these filling delights very tasty.
- 1 C almond m!lk pulp
- 1½ Tbs ground flaxseed
- 2 tsp za'atar (or other preferred dried herbs)
- ½ tsp sumac (or other preferred spice)
- salt & pepper
- 3 Tbs chilli oil & chilli
- grind of salt
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients, the dough should hold together (if it doesn't add a little water) .
Roll out between sheets of baking paper to about 3-4mm depth
Score and prick with fork. Grind a nice lot of salt and pepper over the top (to suit your taste buds)
Pop in oven for 20 minutes - leave the oven door open as you flip all the crackers over and then put back in the oven for another 20 minutes.
Remove and cool on a cooling rack, once the crackers are 100% cold place in a sealable container (if you do this whilst they are still cooling they will loose their crunch).
